Spend Output Profit Rate(SOPR)
Metric Description
Spend Output Profit Rate (SOPR) is used to track the overall profit or loss ratio of the BTC that moves during the day. This indicator is very similar to Net Realized Profit/Loss, which tracks the amount of overall profit or loss of BTC moved during the day.
1) When the indicator value is greater than 1, it means that the seller is selling at a profit. The larger the indicator value, the greater the profit.
2) When the indicator value is less than 1, it means that the seller is selling at a loss. The smaller the indicator value, the greater the loss.
Set the SMA parameter of the indicator to 30 and observe that,
1)This indicator can be used as an auxiliary indicator for judging the top range of the market, that is, other indicators have been used to judge that the market is close to the top range, and at the same time, there is a large-scale deviation between this indicator and the price trend, indicating that the chips have fully changed hands at the high price, which often corresponds to the top range of the price.
2)This indicator can also be used as an auxiliary indicator for judging the bottom range of the market . That is, other indicators have been used to judge that the market is close to the bottom range, and at the same time, the indicator and the price trend have a large-scale deviation, indicating that the long-term wash has been completed, and other loss-making currency holders reluctance to sell at a loss often corresponds to the bottom range of the price.
Set the SMA parameter of the indicator to 180 and observe that,
1)This indicator is also an effective auxiliary means for judging the bull-bear cycle. As shown in the figure, the trend of each bull-bear cycle is very similar.
