Metric Description
MVRV Z-Score indicates whether the current price of BTC is overvalued or undervalued compared to its "normal" price. The definition of "normal" price can be understood as the average exchange price of stock BTC. MVRV Z-Score is derived from MVRV, MVRV = Market Cap / Realized Cap, MVRV Z-Score = (Market Cap - Realized Cap) / std(Market Cap).
When the indicator is in the range (-oo, 0), it means that the current price is lower than the average exchange price of the stock BTC, the market is bleeding, and historically it is the bottom range
When the indicator is in the range ∈ (7, 100%), it means that the current BTC price is significantly ahead of the average exchange price of the stock BTC, the market is in a bubble stage, and historically it is the top range
